Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for logistics with minimum 2 years of experience? We're on the lookout for a Dispatch Department Manager to steer our thriving fleet of approximately 30 units.

Key Responsibilities:

• Experience: 5 years in trucking business, at least 3 in dispatch with open deck freight   (experienced in oversized freight, partialsand bring in your customers and brokers)
• Training Leadership: Conduct weekly training sessions with the dispatch department, keeping the team up-to-date with industry best practices and innovative strategies.
• Customer Onboarding: Identify and onboard direct customers, building strong relationships to enhance business opportunities.
• Collaboration with Operational Manager: Work closely with our operational manager to assign units to new drivers efficiently and optimize resource allocation.
• Strategic Vision: Bring fresh perspectives and strategies gleaned from managing fleets of over 100 units to elevate our dispatch operations.
• Revenue Maximization: Utilize your experience to book load combinations and partials effectively, maximizing our rate per mile and contributing to our financial success.
• Freight Broker Relations: Establish and nurture relationships with freight brokers and direct customers, expanding our network and driving business growth.
• Team Building: Recruit, hire, and manage a team of dispatchers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Troubleshooting & cargo claims experience (abilities to manage a cargo claim and be on top of the situation)
