Senior QA Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct manual and automated testing to ensure software quality
• Develop and execute test plans and test cases
• Create and maintain automated test scripts using JavaScript and basics of Node.js
• Utilize test automation tools like WebdriverIO, Cypress, or Playwright
• Write complex locators using XPath or CSS selectors
• Work with the Mocha framework and Chai library to validate test results
• Test REST API architecture to ensure proper functionality
• Use Git for version control and collaboration
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline the testing process
• Analyze and troubleshoot issues to identify root causes and solutions

Requirements:

• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of manual and automated testing methodologies
• Programming Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript and basics of Node.js
• Automation Tools: Hands-on experience with WebdriverIO, Cypress, or Playwright
• Locator Writing: Ability to write complex locators using XPath or CSS selectors
• Testing Frameworks: Experience with Mocha framework and Chai library is a plus
• API Testing: Knowledge of REST API architecture and testing methodologies
• Version Control: Proficiency in using Git commands
• CI/CD Knowledge: Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and their implementation
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Communication: English proficiency (intermediate and above)
