Senior .NET Developer

You'll will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of .NET applications within the client’s application development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining multiple client-facing applications, as well as helping establish the team’s best practices and application architecture standards. This position requires excellent hands-on technical skills with the Microsoft .NET stack, including SQL Server.
Location: Remote, overlap with EST

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement .NET applications within the client’s application development team
• Create and maintain multiple client-facing applications
• Help establish team-wide best practices and application architecture standards

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, design patterns, and principles
• Extensive familiarity with .NET (Framework 4.7+, Core 3.0+) & Visual Studio 2019 or JetBrains Rider 2022.3 or later
• Familiarity with Web API, REST, Routing, Authorization & Authentication, JSON, Dependency Injection, T-SQL, and Blazor WASM
• Strong development skills, including SQL Server database design (data models) and stored procedures
• Experience with .NET 6+, OpenTelemetry, and React is a plus
• Previous experience in the insurance industry is a plus
• Strong analytical skills, self-motivation, and a positive attitude

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer/Information Sciences
• Solid C# development experience
• 3+ years of Object-Oriented development experience
