Senior Accountant

Location: Chișinău, Moldova
Start Date: August 1, 2025

We’re looking for a Senior Accountant to join our international finance team. This is a high-impact role where you’ll take full ownership of the accounting and financial reporting for several legal entities across Europe—while working closely with Dutch and Moldovan colleagues from our Chișinău base.

What you’ll be doing
You’ll be the go-to person for:

• Manage the end-to-end accounting processes for multiple international legal entities.
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end closings.Standardize closing and book-keeping process and practice across entities. Reduce complexity while keeping necessary country-specific requirements
• Analize key P&L and balance sheet items and proactively identify and correct errors.
• Support the preparation of financial statements, disclosures, and group reporting templates.
• Act as the local finance lead for a remote accounting team based in Chișinău.
• Initiate and drive improvements to reporting processes and accounting practices.
• Monitor and support compliance with internal policies and external reporting requirements.
• Coordinate and support external audits.

What we’re looking for
You’re a great fit if you have:

• 5+ years of experience in international accounting or controlling
• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP = big advantage)
• A sharp eye for detail and strong analytical skills
• The ability to stay calm and clear-headed during closings cycles
• Solid English communication skills written and spoken
• Leadership potential and a proactive mindset
• Willingness to travel occasionally to the Netherlands
