Internal auditor

Job Objectives: Provide an independent guarantee that organisation's risk management, governance and control processes are operating effectively; monitor and evaluate how well risks are being managed, how the business is running and if internal processes are working; provide recommendations to improve internal systems and processes.

Job Location: Chisinau

Responsibilities:

• Obtain understanding of business processes, internal control systems and procedures
• Perform risk assessments on key business activities
• Develop and execute annual audit plans and schedules for internal audit assignments
• Gather, analyse and document audit evidence
• Prepare internal audit reports according to the planned timetable
• Present audit findings and suggest appropriate measures to be taken
• Anticipate emerging issues and propose ad-hoc audit assignments
• Identify loopholes, errors or violations of internal or external regulations, provide recommendations for improvement and perform follow up procedures
• Ensure cooperation and coordination with group internal audit function

Education: University degree in Economics/Accounting and Audit/Finance/Business Administration
Work experience: at least 3 years in auditing

Skills and personal attributes:

• Computer literacy, good knowledge of MS Office
• Good knowledge of English, Romanian and Russian languages
• Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity
• Strong sense of analysis and synthesis
• Good communication abilities, both written and verbal
• Attention to detail, responsibility and reliability
