About the Role
Are you passionate about building reliable, scalable cloud platforms and solving complex, mission-critical problems?
We are looking for a Cloud Software Engineer to help design, develop, and operate a large-scale, AWS-hosted sorting decision platform used by global customers in automated logistics.
Our platform routes millions of parcels per day, integrates with computer vision systems, robotics, and physical sorting machines, and ensures high availability, security, and performance at national scale. You will work on a modern, cloud-native system that combines AWS Serverless architectures with containerized workloads on Kubernetes, contributing directly to both software development and operational excellence.
You will be part of an agile product team, collaborating closely with other engineers, QA, and stakeholders to continuously deliver high-quality solutions.

What You Will Do

Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native software solutions for large-scale, distributed logistics systems.

Contribute to the evolution and operation of an AWS-hosted platform, ensuring mission-critical uptime, scalability, and security.

Build and maintain TypeScript-based services (Node.js), with additional development in Python where needed.

Design and implement solutions that work across AWS Serverless services (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, etc.) and Kubernetes-based environments.

Work with CI/CD pipelines to enable fast, secure, and reliable deployments to test, acceptance, and production environments.

Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as AWS CDK, Helm, and other automation scripts.

Operate and support cloud-native applications in production, including monitoring, logging, and alerting.

Work with Kubernetes (deployment, scaling, lifecycle management) as part of our technical roadmap.

Support and troubleshoot system performance, availability, and database-related issues.

Ensure security best practices, secure data sharing, and compliance across environments.

Collaborate closely with DevOps, platform, and development teams to optimize build, deployment, and runtime workflows.

Provide technical support to customers during incidents or operational questions.

Document architecture, infrastructure, and operational processes, and actively share knowledge within the engineering organization.

What We Expect From You

3+ years of experience as a Cloud Software Engineer, Software Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar role.

Strong experience developing software using TypeScript (Node.js).

Hands-on experience with cloud-native development, preferably on AWS.

Practical experience with AWS services, such as Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, IAM, or EKS.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, AWS CodeBuild, Azure DevOps, or similar).

Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

Experience or strong interest in Infrastructure as Code (AWS CDK, Helm, Terraform, or similar).

Understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and scalable architectures.

Solid knowledge of Linux-based systems and cloud networking concepts.

Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch).

Strong communication skills and full professional fluency in English.

A proactive, problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and reliability.

Nice to Have

Experience with the Kubernetes ecosystem (Ingress controllers, autoscaling, certificate management, external DNS).

Experience with event-driven architectures and serverless systems.

Background in high-load or mission-critical platforms.

Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and microservices design.

Experience with Python.

Relevant cloud or DevOps certifications.
